T-Ball & Rookies

Our T-Ball and Rookies program is the perfect place for young players to discover the game of baseball. Open to children ages 5 through 2nd grade, this program focuses on building confidence, learning the fundamentals, and having fun in a positive, supportive environment. Through age-appropriate instruction and plenty of encouragement, players develop basic skills, teamwork, and a love for the game that will last for years to come.

Registration Opens April

  • Cost to play: TBA

  • Ages:

    • T-Ball players must be age 5 by June of the year they’re playing. T-Ball is open to players 5-6 years old (incoming kinder and kindergarteners)

    • Rookies players must be 1st and 2nd graders

  • Uniform: Registration includes a t-shirt jersey and hat

  • Typically games and practices are 2 times per week (T-Ball is Tuesday/Thursday and rookies is Monday/Wednesday).

  • All games are played in Canby at Lee Elementary, Legacy Park and Canby Community Park and are subject to weather.

  • Season runs from May through June

  • No refunds for weather related game cancellations and no makeup games

  • T-Ball players hit off a stationary tee
